While we look forward to reopening, we are cognizant of the fact that we are still in the midst of a pandemic. As we anticipate the gathering of our congregation and leaders for corporate worship, we must also be very clear about safety for every single person who attends any service. This virus is still around us and it is our Christian duty to be as responsible as possible and ensure all safety guidelines are fervently followed.

With that in mind, we will adhere to the following safety procedures:

  1. All sick parishioners should stay at home for their safety, as well as the safety of everyone else.

  2. We are asking all worshippers to refrain from hugs or other physical contact.

  3. There will be no passing of the offering plate. The tithe box will be placed in the back of the church for your convenience. In addition, please consider making your contributions electronically through one of the means that we have provided (Cash App or PayPal). Contact the church office if you have questions.

For those who will attend the services, the following guidelines are to be strictly followed:

  1. You are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer with you for your personal use.

  2. Everyone will be required to wear masks before entering and while inside the church.

  3. Please practice safe distancing (6 to 8 feet from others) upon arrival on the church yard.

  4. Entry will be through the main doors of the church only.

  5. Congregants will be greeted and seated by the ushers limiting 3 persons per pew, unless from the same family/household.

  6. Church bulletins will be placed in the pews.

  7. Communion will be administered on the first Sunday of every month with pre-consecrated bread placed in the cup holders on the back of the pews.

  8.  At the end of service, please depart through the same door you entered.

I would like to personally appeal to each of you to reconfirm your commitment to Macedonia by your continued spiritual support. I stand even more determined to preach, pastor, and perform God’s will through this pandemic. In addition to your spiritual devotion, I solicit your financial support. During times such as these, the work of the church should not be imperiled by impulsive giving. I humbly ask that you commit yourselves to financially sustaining all ministry objectives on a consistent basis. Your tithes and offerings are vitally important, especially during this pandemic. Please put forth a concerted effort to see that your contributions get to the church each week. God promised He would open Heaven’s windows and pour out blessings (Malachi 3:10).

Thank you for your prayers and patience.  We look forward to seeing each of you happy and healthy at the Macedonia Baptist Church on Sunday.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor J. A. McFarlan

See You Sunday!
